Motivation vs Discipline

Hi!

How did your week go?

Did you excel at work? Did you laugh well? Achieved all things you decided to? Met deadlines? Slept well? Took out half an hour for body wellness?

Or

Did you drag yourself to work? Slept late and woke up with burning eyes the next morning? Missed some deadlines? Stressed out the whole week? Didn’t exercise? Smiled halfheartedly through the week?

So here is the truth. You may love your job, you may love your workout and your healthy meals.  But you cannot be equally motivated about it all 365 days! You may become fire one day to achieve all your goals and turn ‘ice-cold-not-wanting-to-move-out-of-the-bed’ the next day.

Each day seems like a war. A lot of hustle is there at every step and losing motivation is obvious. Here comes a magic word which can change worse days to better.

DISCIPLINE. The shortest distance between you and your goals!

Take one day at a time. Yes, it is difficult to pull off..first few days and weeks are testing but hey..I read somewhere “You will never always be motivated, you have to learn to be disciplined.”

Hitting the gym, meeting your office deadline, reading your favorite book, morning workout resolution, making your business work..and all goals you can think of..are tied with discipline.

Wake up – smash laziness – make time for stillness – laugh – don’t stress – breathe when you can’t keep up – feel good about your body – eye your goals – love yourself.
