We spend our lives to gather as much treasure, financial security and happiness as possible. Everyday is a regular run to work which includes skipping breakfast, getting squeezed in metro rush, doing competitive work and getting promoted and dreaming of an ideal life of getting love, societal acceptance and all luxuries possible. We want to party and drink, go to expensive restaurants, buy amazing clothes and accessories. There is nothing wrong in this. We need to survive and in the ongoing time we need to incorporate these practices. And our ‘perfect city life’ is so indulgent that it’s tough to get out. But once in a while there is a pop in our hearts that tells us to be real.
You don’t believe me? Well..just ask these questions to yourself and you will know what I am talking about.
Why do you like walking on the beach?
Why do you flee away from your perfect city life and breathe peace in mountains?
Why babies make you smile?
Why some of you love animals more than humans?
Why your soul gets satisfied when you eat food that your mom cooks?
Why live music takes on our mind and fill it with joy?
Because all these things are authentic!! They are real.
Nature, sea, mountains, trees, sand, babies, animals..these are so real! There is nothing pretentious. There is no mask. 🙂
The more we give space to the ‘Real’ , the happier we become.
I just went back to the scuba diving scene in the movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ when Hrithik Roshan comes out after diving and sits silently and starts crying. Because what he experienced was so real! Some of us never give ourselves the chance to break the image and be this authentic. Give yourself that chance if you are still in a shell. Believe me.. your life will turn into a better version of what it is today. 🙂
Be real. Be raw. Attract every happy and positive experience.
Hope you had a good read.
